Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• A cPanel hosting account
• PHP 8.1 or newer
• MySQL
• SSH or cPanel Terminal access
• Your City School license and ZIP package

Step 1 — Upload the City School Files

Download the City School ZIP package from your license.

In cPanel:

1. Open File Manager.
2. Navigate to public_html or the subdirectory where you want to install City School.
3. Upload the City School ZIP file.
4. Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract.

Alternatively, you can upload the files using an FTP client such as FileZilla.

After extraction, make sure the City School project files are located in the intended installation directory.
